Mathew K. McCarthy is a life long resident of Steuben County. He attended Avoca High School and then went on to graduate cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Bonaventure University. After attending Albany Law School he returned to practice law with his father at McCarthy Law Office. He was appointed a part-time Assistant District Attorney in January of 2007. As a part time prosecutor, Mr. McCarthy’s responsibilities include representing the People in 13 local criminal courts throughout Steuben County.Mr. McCarthy is currently the secretary for the Steuben County Bar Association, the general delegate for Cayuga, Livingston, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne & Yates County to the New York State Bar Association and a member of the Bath Rotary. |
